Temperatures declined on Sunday across northern parts of the country, including Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, bringing milder daytime conditions compared to previous days.
Forecasts indicate highs of around 27°C in Greater Cairo, 22°C along the northern coast, 29°C in northern Upper Egypt, and up to 38°C in the south, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
The weather will be relatively cool in the early morning and at night, while daytime conditions range from warm to hot.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected over parts of the northwestern coasts and northern Delta, with showers possibly extending eastward along the coast later in the day.
There is also a slight chance of light rain, estimated at around 20%, in parts of southern Delta, canal cities, and potentially Greater Cairo.
Winds will be active across much of the country, reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h, with stronger gusts of up to 55 km/h in some areas.
These conditions may stir sand and dust, particularly over the western desert, northwestern coasts, and parts of Greater Cairo, the Delta, canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt, occasionally reducing visibility.
