Founded in 1975, Meteori grew from early commercial and engineering foundations in Cairo into a company specializing in fire protection solutions. In 1979, Meteori expanded through global partnerships that brought international technologies and specialized distribution relationships to the Egyptian market. In 1986, the company established its factory with modern assembly lines to manufacture and market fire extinguishers to meet growing local demand.

Meteori subsequently acquired advanced technologies and international expertise, launching its state-of-the-art laboratory with a focus on the most stringent quality standards. Today, Meteori is certified according to Egyptian standards and ISO 9001, with ongoing efforts to meet and exceed further international quality standards and certifications.
