Delta Sugar Company
In 1978, the Delta Sugar Company was established as the first company to produce sugar from beets in Egypt, and in 1982 the construction of the first production line was completed with a capacity of tonne of beets occupied 8000 tons of beet/day to produce 100 thousand tons of sugar per season and then doubled the production by establishing the second line with a capacity of Ton of processed beet 10,000 tons of beetroot / day.
