She explained that Egypt was among the first Arab and African countries to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China.
For 70 years, regardless of changes in the international and regional landscape, the two countries have consistently adhered to the principles of equality and mutual trust, friendship and mutual learning, solidarity and cooperation for mutual benefit.
China-Egypt Relations: A model of friendly coexistence, solidarity, and cooperation
The consul further emphasized that China-Egypt relations have become a model of friendly coexistence, solidarity, and cooperation among developing countries, and a model of collective cooperation between Arab states and China, as well as between China and African countries.
These relations are moving forward toward building a China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era. This visit coincides with a pivotal stage in the development and modernization of both China and Egypt.
She stated that this year marks the launch of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, as China is making concerted efforts to open new horizons for modernization in the Chinese style.
At the same time, the process of building the “New Republic” in Egypt is progressing rapidly, and Egypt is moving forward toward achieving its “Vision 2030.”
China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and Egypt’s Vision 2030 are scheduled to end at the same time in 2030.
The diplomacy of the leaders guides and sets the course of relations between the two countries, leading to a deep alignment between Chinese and Egyptian development strategies and giving comprehensive cooperation between the two countries a new impetus, thus contributing to drawing up a new vision for Sino-Egyptian cooperation to advance the modernization process in both countries.
