Egyptian stocks end higher, EGX30 up 1.48%

Egypt’s stock market closed Sunday’s trading session in positive territory, with market capitalization increasing by around LE43 billion, supported by broad gains across most indices.
The EGX30 rose 1.48 percent to 52,861 points.  The EGX70 increased 1.29 percent to 14,584 points, while EGX100 climbed 1.25 percent to 20,388 points. EGX35-LV advanced 1.24 percent to 5,872 points, the Sharia index added 0.81 percent to 5,847 points, and EGX30 Capped rose 1 percent to 64,869 points.
Market capitalization increased by around LE43 billion, reaching LE3.762 trillion compared with LE3.719 trillion in the previous session.
Egyptian investors recorded net purchases of LE129.7 million, while Arab investors posted net buying of LE103.3 million. Foreign investors, however, recorded net sales of LE233 million.
Total market turnover stood at LE12.9 billion, with 1.9 billion shares traded across 170,000 transactions.
Among leading gainers, Raya Holding for Financial Investments surged 7.59 percent, followed by Bonyan for Development & Trade, which rose 6.82 percent, and B Investments Holding, up 6.37 percent.
On the losing side, the Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda fell 5.38 percent, followed by Gogreen for Agricultural Investment down 4.24 percent, and Arab Cotton Ginning declined 3.40 percent.
