President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ratified Law No. 10 of 2026 amending certain provisions of Egypt’s Law Regulating Nuclear and Radiological Activities, originally issued under Law No. 7 of 2010.
The amendments come as Egypt continues advancing major strategic projects in the nuclear energy sector, most notably the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant project, while also expanding regulatory and institutional frameworks governing nuclear and radiological activities.
