During the call, President El-Sisi expressed his best wishes for Museveni’s upcoming term, noting that the election results reflect the Ugandan people’s confidence in his leadership. The President emphasized Egypt’s commitment to deepening the “historical and fraternal” ties between the two nations, aiming to build on the momentum of cooperation seen in recent years.

• Follow-up on 2025 Summit: The call served as a follow-up to President Museveni’s high-profile visit to Cairo in August 2025, during which several MoUs were signed regarding water resource management and agriculture.
